What this website collects, and how we handle it.
Effective October 25, 2026. Tercet Law PLLC (“Tercet,” “we”) runs tercetlaw.com. This page says what the website collects and how we handle it. Information you share as a client is also covered by the confidentiality rules that bind lawyers.
1. What the website collects
- What you give us. Your name, email, phone and any message when you use a form or book a call through Calendly.
- How you use the site. Pages visited, the link or ad that brought you here, device and browser type, through Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag (cookies).
2. Contacting us does not make you a client
Sending a form, an email or booking a call does not create an attorney-client relationship. That begins only when we both sign an engagement letter. Until then, please don’t send confidential details about your family, money or a dispute. A short note on what you need is enough for the first call.
3. Why we use it
- To reply, schedule a consultation and check for conflicts of interest before we take a matter.
- To learn which pages help people find us.
4. What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your information.
- We don’t put client files, or anything you tell us about your matter, into advertising or marketing tools.
- Client matter files are kept in our practice systems, apart from this website.
5. Who helps us run the website
HubSpot (contact forms), Google (Analytics, Ads, email), Calendly (scheduling), Cloudflare (website hosting). Each processes data under its own privacy terms.
6. Cookies
You can block cookies in your browser and opt out of Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
7. Your choices
Write to russ@tercetlaw.com to see, correct or delete website contact information. We answer within 30 days. Records the lawyer conduct rules require us to keep are kept for the period those rules require.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top.
